Job Description

We are seeking a SQL DBA with 2-5 years of professional working experience as a Microsoft SQL DBA and a strong background in cloud engineering, particularly with AWS services. In this role, you will lead the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS, focusing on the initial planning phases for a modern DevOps architecture while managing legacy systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing MS SQL Server instances, applying patches, and troubleshooting integrations from a client services perspective. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AWS database services and a passion for optimizing cloud solutions. Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information & Technology, or similar or Equivalent Professional Experience

2-5 years Professional working experience with cloud or on-premises Microsoft SQL Administration (MS SQL DBA)

--- SQL Server Experience

2-5 Years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS services

--- AWS SQL/RDS -- 3 years' experience

In-depth knowledge of AWS services

--- Such as: SQL/RDS, Lamba, S3, VPC's, CloudWatch

Good Communication Skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ability to write and maintain scripts using language such as Python or Java

- ETL Process Experience

- Snowflake & Matillion Administration Experience
