Job Description

As a Mobile HVAC & Maintence Tech, your main responsibility is to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple locations. You should have specialized expertise in one area (such as Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations) and be proficient in other areas as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems to ensure they meet required standards.
Travel between various facilities to ensure they are operating correctly.
Manage facility services, including preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical tasks.
Maintain HVAC systems and related equipment by cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts to ensure peak performance.
Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality.
Adhere to departmental policies for the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform regular checks of tool and instrument inventory.
Oversee the quality and cost of maintenance work performed by external contractors.
Follow all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and ensure the safety of work areas. Identify and propose solutions for safety hazards.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3 years experience in maintaining & repairing commercial building systems
- Ability to determine malfunctions & correct the operations of various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC systems
- EPA 608 Type II Certification
- Valid drivers license

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- EPA 608 Universal Certification
- 2 years of trade schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, or HVAC
