Insight Global is looking for a System Operator for an extended contract opportunity in Louisville/Simpsonville, KY area. This person will sit in the Control Center and will collaborate with a team of operators who plan, monitor and work to maintain a safe operating environment. Other responsibilities will include communicating and directing dispatch crews, monitoring system loads, and coordinating efficient restoration of customers' electric service. Their main responsibilities will be keeping track of status circuits or connections, testing and isolating faults, coordinating dispatches, and orchestrating power restoration. There is a training program in place for all operators that educates on all pods of the DCC. The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience in the power industry, including electrical substations, line maintenance and/or generation. They will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have basic computer skills.

Associates Degree in engineering/electrical technology, mathematics, or related
2 years technical knowledge and proficiencies in the power industry, electrical substations, line maintenance and/or generation.
