Job Description

An employer located in the Louisville, KY area is looking for a Weekend/Nightshift NOC Analyst. This associate will be responsible for supporting all the corporate production LAN/WAN infrastructure related to gift card services for some of the worlds leading retail brands: TJX, GAP, American Girl etc. Our client is seeking someone with excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with both external and internal customers. This candidate should be prepared to be consistently busy as they will be receiving calls/emails to then troubleshoot the network error, open a ticket then send off to a technician. Call volumes will vary due to the type of incident or ticket being created and most of the calls will be geared towards more service desk incidents user security, granting access/user provision with AD and different/proprietary systems. Experience with ticketing systems is highly encouraged as they will need to be able to document the incident events as well as the resolutions of those events. They will also need to have exceptional multitasking skills to be able to manage multiple issues concurrently while resolving the network production issues in a timely and professional manner. We are looking for a candidate that already has an understanding in the day-to-day computer operations. This NOC Analyst will be working onsite joining a small group of 4/5 other Analyst. There will be a training period of about 4 weeks based off performance before working independently. Although, there will always be resources to collaborate with as a perk of being onsite. All-star candidates fresh out of college with basic knowledge of Network troubleshooting and eager to learn could be considered for an interview.

Required Skills & Experience

1-2 years NOC experience/training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong documentation skills with general knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with good understanding of Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN infrastructure)
Excellent customer service and multitasking skills
Experience working with Cisco products, SNMPC and ticketing systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CCENT Cisco Certified
Experience with Active Directory
Programming background
Experience with configuring routers
Associates Degree/technical certification in Computer Science
