The Payroll Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and timely employee payroll, payroll system administration, and resolution for employee inquiries. This individual is responsible for managing a variety of employee-facing tasks for the US, Canada, and the US Virgin Islands. This role requires ownership of tasks pertaining to the assigned areas of responsibility, be proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may impact payroll processes, as well as finding effective and efficient methods to address these challenges. This role will be involved with a variety of activities and projects to support the Global Business Services (GBS) Payroll team. The Payroll Analyst reports to the Payroll Manager, and plays a critical role in the flawless execution of employee payroll activities, government reporting, system governance, and audit compliance Responsibilities of the payroll specialist consist of completing regular payroll processing, quarterly balancing, and annual year-end reconciliations as well as work on the development and testing of payroll system changes for multiple active markets.
