The Network Engineer will be responsible for correcting routing issues and planning for the strategic network growth of this public sector organization. They will be responsible for the core switch configuration, operation, and maintenance of the network. They will manage and maintain the core switch configuration, data center routing, primary internet circuit routing, firewall operation, and all design and architecture for the organization's network/ They will also help to
secure and maintain network infrastructures to protect productivity and reduce costs including perimeter security, virtual private networks, and intrusion protection for an integrated network security solution. They will be traveling around town to visit the different organization buildings within a 10 mile radius assisting with the network installs.
