Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team in Louisville, KY. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work for the largest steel manufacturer in the US and be responsible for various tasks related to the maintenance of shop equipment and tools. You will repair them as needed, troubleshoot electrical issues using a multi-meter, read, understand, and modify electrical schematics and symbols, and complete maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance forms. You will also follow safety protocols and procedures at all times. To be eligible for this position, you must be willing to work rotating shifts and have your own basic tools.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience

- Experience with Electrical or Mechanical maintenance

- Hydraulics, boilers, conveyers, motors, pumps

- Possesses their own tools (base level - screwdrivers, pliers, drill)

- Ability to read and decipher blueprints and schematics

- Willing to work the Rotating Shift (4 weeks Day, 4 weeks Night)

- Additional 4 days on / 4 days off

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Associates in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance

- PLC's - Programming and Troubleshooting

- Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred

- Robotics Experience -- Programming and Troubleshooting

- HVAC experience

OSHA certifications
