An employer is seeking a Remote Telecom Engineer (RingCentral/Avaya) for a contract role that has the possibility of going permanent. This engineer will join a healthcare organization and assist with the company's upgrade and migration efforts to RingCentral from Avaya. On a daily basis this individual will be the primary point of contact for the office moves and work on deploying and implementing the new phone system out in the field and also work with the sites to build out their further telecom footprint. During the implementation they will document the changes, identify the forwarding calls to the carrier and provide ports to carriers. They will receive the design changes from the team architect, but they would be able to make the changes if they were able to. They may also have to run user training so the employees understand the new system works. Strong prioritization, communication and project management skills are required to be successful in the role.
- 1-2 years of experience migrating phone systems to RingCentral
- Experience troubleshooting Avaya Call version 6
- Strong troubleshooting experience working within RingCentral Admin portal
- Excellent communication, project management and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in a complex environment
- Technical certifications
