Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join one of the largest organizations within the gaming and hospitality industry, this position will sit in the Louisville, KY area or the Lexington, KY area. This Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with Vice President of Operations Finance. This individual will be joining a team of Analysts, Accountants, and Financial Analysts all supporting at the business unit level and partnering with executive leadership in the fostering of strategic plans for future operations. It will be vital for this individual to build relationships with team members throughout different departments of the organization. Responsibilities are tied to analysis and decision support of business-critical activities. An example of detailed responsibilities will include forecasting of budgets as well as spend allocation. Next, this individual would be responsible for the analysis of Current Month Actuals. The accounting requirements will be handled by the Controller. The Sr. Financial Analyst will finalize the forecast by reviewing with leadership. Lastly, the back half of the cycle will consist of project driven analysis around difference existential impacts on the organization financially. This position will be onsite 5 days a week with some flexibility on a weekly basis.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree is Finance or Accounting

- MBA or CPA

- 3-5 years of working experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a related Finance Role

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

o Intermediate Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, charts, modelling)

- Strong financial acumen and thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Strong interpersonal skills, meaning the ability to communicate effectively with Senior / Executive leadership as well as the board of directors

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Project Management Experience

- Knowledge of the racing / gaming industry
