· 2+ years Accounting/finance experience in a corporate setting.
· Experience with Grants or government funding (any type of experience -- preferably Grants reporting)
· Experience journal entries, grants, forecasting, budget/accrual analysis, and financial reporting.
· Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookups etc.)
Comfortable working within the public sector.
We are currently seeking two Grant Accountants to join a growing team in support of a local initiative within the Louisville community. This Accountant will be overseeing several individual projects and will be attending weekly staff meetings to receive updates from these teams. For each project assigned it will be this Accountants responsibility to oversee and support expenses and reporting, purchase processes, data analysis, and monthly reporting. This individual must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and they must be a self-motivator. This position will not have much oversight, so needing someone to come in and immediately hit the ground running. This individual must be able to run virtual meetings using appropriate technology and able to communicate with all levels of employees.
