A client in the Louisville, KY area is looking for a Claims Analyst to join their team for a contract to hire opportunity. This candidate will be responsible for communicating with insurance companies about unpaid or no response claims. They will be reviewing a "no response claims" work que to view and follow up with insurance companies about the claims. This person will follow up by phone calls, emails, and navigating company website tools to contact the insurance agencies. The goal for this candidate is to identify why the insurance was not covered by the insurance agency, the issue could be an internal error or an external error. Additionally, there is a step-by-step process to ensure efficiency while contacting the agency and the expectation is to follow up on 60 invoices per day.
- Some knowledge of insurance (health, medical, dental, life)
- 6months -- 1+ year of experience
- Basic Excel knowledge
- Comfortable navigating applications (Office, word, excel, email)
- Strong communication and team player
- Detail Oriented
