Job Description
An employer is looking for a Business Analyst to join a telecommunications company to support their product teams. This Business Analyst will drive operational improvements through the analysis of complex business operations and provide strategies to enhance the client experience and business processes. They will support business functions and organizational goals through a detailed understanding of the structure, policies and operations of this organization. On a daily basis they will lead and join team meetings, gather and analyze information from multiple sources to formulate simple solutions for complex business requirements.
They will also develop processes and plan improvements forward by working cross-functionally with various internal and external teams. Sometimes they will have to co-pilot process creation and manage competing strategies on which solution to take which will take strong communication and soft skills. They will also use their expertise in business processes and technical capabilities to identify roadblocks and overcome obstacles to see projects completed effectively and efficiently. The client is seeking a candidate who can research and learn new things and someone who can take control of a process plan.
What you will do:
* Drive company-wide excellence by working with business stakeholders to analyze operations and recommend solutions that align business functions with organizational goals.
* Improve existing operations by recommending solutions for general business processes and planning based on an in-depth understanding of the company structure, policies and procedures.
* Propose new strategies for current and future business changes by compiling, analyzing, interpreting and presenting complex data, to include reports, charts and graphs.
* Develop project improvement scopes, to include estimates by identifying phases, elements, personnel requirements and costs.
* Assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations based on an analysis of external market dynamics and other data sources.
* Improve solution results by leveraging new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
* Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
**During the contract portion this role can sit remote out of KY, MO, TX, NC, CO, FL, CT, but would need to sit onsite when converted perm**
* Two or more years of business analysis experience supporting business functional teams - NOT an IT BA!
* Strong process engineering experience -> strong documentation & technical writing skills, explanation and coordination skills with new and existing processes -- able to show why things are important
* Solid research, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
* Proven ability to analyze and interpret data for multiple projects simultaneously and quickly identify business issues and opportunities.
* Strong communication skills -- able to work cross functionally
