Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Tableau Developer for a utility client to join their team and create dashboards for multiple lines of business, including executives, operations, HR, customer service, and more. You will be responsible for working with different KPIs within each line of business, pulling data from various systems such as Peoplesoft, Fusion, and Maximo, and writing SQL queries using TOAD. You will also interface with business groups, document requirements, facilitate meetings, and communicate effectively with executives and other lines of business. Every week, you will collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth integration and delivery of these dashboards. You should have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, as well as excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Required Skills & Experience

· Confident in interfacing with business groups and different levels of stakeholders/teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide recommendations.

· Strong experience with Tableau development, including dashboard design, data modeling, and performance tuning to derive insights from data.

o Preferably 3+ years - Power BI can substitute as long as they still have good knowledge/history with Tableau

· Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write basic queries and optimize data sources.

· Ability to provide a portfolio of their history with Tableau, preferably a Tableau Public Profile (and Power BI if applicable)

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with or knowledge of Cognos

· Experience with Toad

· Experience with or knowledge of Python & R

Experience with or knowledge of Maximo, Peoplesoft, and Fusion
