Job Description
The 2nd Shift Production Manager is responsible for leading overnight manufacturing and fabrication operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are achieved. This role provides leadership to production teams, drives operational efficiency, supports employee development, and works cross-functionally to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate 3rd shift production and fabrication operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Monitor performance metrics, adjust priorities as needed, and ensure work is completed on schedule.
Coach, develop, and support team members while addressing performance and employee relations issues.
Review employee timekeeping and labor utilization within the ERP system for accuracy.
Maintain quality standards by identifying root causes of defects and implementing corrective actions.
Promote a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with company policies and reporting procedures.
Support continuous improvement efforts through process optimization and team training.
Partner with maintenance and other departments to resolve operational challenges and improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to coach, train, and lead a diverse team
- Proficient in production tracking software (ERP System GSS is a PLUS)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Powder Coat OR Fabrication OR Welding systems
