Senior Engineering Technician

An employer sitting in Lawrence, KS is looking to hire a Senior Engineering Technician. This person will be operating as an individual contributor supporting various electrical, mechanical, software, needs working on a CNC mill. He/she will travel locally for in field flight testing needs for their helicopter drone product. He/She will be working hands on making electrical cable and doing assemblies, interpreting drawings etc. He/she will need to understand how to connect a payload to their aircraft, performing on the job functions along side the engineering team. This will be a 6 month contract to start with extensions likely, paying between $50-60/hour depending on years of experience.

- 5-7+ years of Mechanical, Electrical and/or Aerospace Production engineering experience
- Ability to get a part 107 certification if not already familiar with flight testing and regulations
- Previous drone/payload/missile production experience

- Obtained Part 107 certification
