SAP Basis & Security Analyst

This role provides day to day SAP Basis support across multiple SAP systems, including system administration, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure stability and SLA compliance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving SAP issues spanning servers, interfaces, and databases, with a strong focus on minimizing production impact and maintaining system availability. The role actively monitors the SAP landscape to identify and remediate incidents, manages SAP Basis tickets in collaboration with internal users, and responds to production issues through root cause analysis, implementation of known fixes, and thorough incident documentation. The individual participates in an on call rotation to support critical SAP systems, collaborates closely with the SAP team to manage and prioritize workload, maintains SAP system and operational documentation, and supports the planning, testing, and execution of SAP system upgrades and enhancements.

• 2–5 years of experience with technical architecture, hardware and software infrastructure, system installations, enhancements, migrations, system copies, and troubleshooting performance issues
• Must currently hold a DoD Security Clearance
• Experience with Linux, server, and/or system administrations experience
• Experience in SAP Basis Administration on Netweaver Systems
• Oracle Database experience
• Must be able to secure Program access approval
• PI experience (interface server) – dealing with external servers

• Knowledge of SAP security administration configuration and protocols
• XI/PI/P0 experience
• Experience with SUSE/Redhat
• BASIS experience in ABAP and JAVA systems
• HANA Basis experience
