Job Description
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide electronic and mechanical service support for food processing equipment. This role is responsible for on‑site and remote troubleshooting, installation of new machinery, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues. The position requires significant travel and strong communication skills when working directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Perform on‑site electronic and mechanical service and installation of Baader Linco machinery
• Provide remote customer support via phone and internet
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues in collaboration with product managers and engineering
• Support equipment upgrades and advise customers on new or enhanced solutions
• Assist with testing, installation, and demonstrations of new equipment
• Continuously expand technical knowledge through hands‑on training and documentation
Complete service reports and required documentation in a timely, professional manner

Required Skills & Experience
• Highschool diploma
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial setting with electrical controls and troubleshooting
• Experience using volt meters & electronic troubleshooting tools
Must have worked in a traveling role before
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Associates degree or higher
• Comfortable handling 480V equipment
Experience working in food processing before
