Insight Global is looking for a senior‑level Building Automation / HVAC Controls Project Support Specialist. This role blends technical controls knowledge with project systems and process ownership.
You’ll support BAS projects end‑to‑end — helping define scopes and sequences, supporting programming and graphics, and ensuring documentation, standards, and internal workflows are clean and consistent.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong BAS background (Delta, Niagara, or similar) who enjoys improving how projects are delivered, not just working in the field. You won’t be on ladders full‑time — instead, you’ll act as a technical backbone for project teams, helping PMs, programmers, and technicians succeed through better systems, tools, and documentation. The right person should have a good understanding of ERP systems and estimating softwares

Required Skills & Experience
-Experience supporting building automation systems (BAS/DDC), including understanding sequences of operation, points lists, control logic, and commissioning workflows. (Delta Controls and/or Niagara strongly preferred.)
-Ability to bridge technical controls work and project execution (Proven experience working alongside project managers, estimators, and field technicians to align scope, design intent, and execution)
-Strong documentation and standards mindset (Experience creating, reviewing, or maintaining SOOs, submittals, drawings, O&Ms, commissioning logs, templates, or standards)
-Comfort with internal systems, tools, and ERP workflows specifically experience supporting or coordinating job setup, cost tracking, documentation control, or project handoff processes using internal tools, ERP systems, or shared platforms.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
BAS platform exposure (not PLC‑centric)
Familiarity with Delta Controls, Niagara (N4), 75F, or similar BAS platforms. This is not an industrial PLC / ladder‑logic role.
