Job Description
The largest dairy supplier in the US is looking to add a Payroll Specialist to their team. This team of 8 people is responsible for payroll activities for over 20,000 employees across the entire country. The ideal candidate will administer end-to-end, multi‑state payroll operations for multiple federal tax IDs, ensuring accurate and timely processing through data entry, auditing, reporting, and strict compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements. They will also compile, review, and validate payroll data, including W‑2 preparation and corrections. Additional Responsibilities include: s
• Respond to employee inquiries with discretion, and support audits, and system enhancements
• Manage full-cycle, multi‑state payroll for multiple FEINs, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Prepare, audit, and process payroll data, W‑2s, and corrections.
• Resolve payroll tax issues in collaboration with tax authorities and ADP.
• Serve as primary payroll contact for employees, HR, and field payroll teams.
Supported audits, system upgrades, M&A payroll integrations, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
HS Diploma/GED
4-6 years of experience working in payroll for a large company
Multistate payroll experience (California a big plus)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
ADP Enterprise experience highly preferred
Fundamental Payroll Certification
