Senior Network Engineer

Insight global is looking for a senior network engineer to support our client in the Wichita area. This person should have more than 8 years of experience as a network engineer and experience specific to Data Center Core Enterprise routing. You should be proficient with BGP and OSPF and have experience managing multi-vendor environments. You will work apart of a global team and will be responsible for the Data Center and part of the network engineering team that supports Cisco products. You will also be supporting their growth in their data center network infrastructure and implementing cutting edge technologies to deliver to client requirements. This role has minimal supervision, so we are looking for a senior level individual who has an established amount of experience at the enterprise level. You will be grafting configurations, advising and executing network issues as well as leading initiatives for optimizing and restructuring the data center and network connections. You should have experience being responsible for end-to-end delivery of network projects and supporting customer issues while delivering high quality solutions and service. This role is onsite and a 6 month contract to hire.

8+ years of experience as a network engineer
8+ years of experience specific to Data center Core Enterprise routing
Proficient in networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, BGP, OSPF and MPLS)
Experience managing multi-vendor WAN environments and multi-protocol routing.
Experience applying advanced covets of underlay and overlay routing in enterprise networks
Experience with advanced routing concepts like Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF)
Cisco Nexus and Cisco products experience

CCNP or CCIE certifications
Cloud experience (VPC, VPN, AWS)
