Job Description

Insight Global is seeking four Automation Engineers to support a client in Lenexa, KS. Youll join a team of engineers working on a three-phase, multi-year pharmaceutical automation project. This role involves programming and configuring Rockwell PlantPAx systems, designing HMI screens and PLC logic, writing and validating documentation in compliance with SGAMP, supporting product transfer systems and ensuring zero-error execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in daily communication and documentation reviews. These people will be working on-site (some weekends may be required). The are looking to hire these people on ASAP.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory/most important:
Hands on experience with Rockwell automation in PlantPax , FactoryTalk, and Studio 5000 (has been involved in at least one project)
Experience programming from scratch (must provide examples)
Experience setting up transfers
Experience in pharma
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
SQL proficiency must be able to write and run queries
HMI: AVEVA Wonderware, Siemens WinCC, TIA Portal
PLC: Siemens, AutomationDirect
SCADA: Ignition, OSI PI
Familiarity with cGMP and pharma validation (SGAMP, V-model)
Valid Drivers License and Passport
Willingness to travel onsite to client's office in Kansas City
Must not appear on the US FDA Debarred List

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with pharmaceutical product transfers (vessel-to-vessel)
Nuclear industry experience
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience with Rockwells new PlantPAx controller and AOI libraries
