Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Piping detailer to join their national construction client's VDC team. This person will be responsible for producing all piping deliverables consistent with specifications, pre-fab guidelines, and department standards. They should have at least 5 years experience in the construction field as a pipefitter and be comfortable detailing in Revit with at least a year of experience in that technology. The right candidate will be confident drawing all systems related to commercial and industrial mechanical rooms. This individual should have a strong understanding of all facets of construction blueprints and be comfortable drawing new systems from scratch.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in piping trade
- 2+ years of hands on experience detailing piping systems in Autodesk Revit
- comfortable with all aspects of a piping drawing ranging from difference in 1/3, 2/3 pipe size, flange types, gaskets, pressure ratings, concrete pads and vibration pads, etc
- Must be a strong communicator and comfortable communicating with the field
- must have hands on commercial MEP construction experience
