Insight Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst (GRC) local to the Kansas City Metro. As a GRC Analyst, you will conduct quantitative risk assessments daily to identify and mitigate potential risks. You will be responsible for creating and adjusting governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards. Monitoring a shared inbox for risk assessment requests, you will determine the appropriate action and route requests accordingly. Daily communication and collaboration with the team are essential, as you will work closely with various departments. You will also engage with the vulnerability management team to address security concerns. A significant portion of your role (70%) involves reviewing 20-30 contracts weekly and performing third-party risk assessments. Building rapport with the entire IT staff is crucial to facilitate smooth operations and effective risk management. Your ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly and work within a team will be key to your success.

1+ years of experience in Cybersecurity consisting of:
Experience conducting 3rd party risk assessments
Experience with evaluating contract verbiage, and a strong understanding of that verbiage
Ability to read and assess SOC reports
Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
Great communication skills and proven ability to build interpersonal relationships with teams and other internal leaders/stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
Strong desire to grow within security, especially governance, risk, and compliance
Comfortable passing a drug test that includes marijuana and staying up to date on yearly flu vaccinations (COVID-19 vaccinations NOT required)
