Insight Global is seeking an Inventory Clerk to assist a client as the client switches venders, the Inventory Clerk will accept all shipments of software and equipment. Ensure that the order received is accurate and undamaged. Unpack equipment, tag it and process it into inventory. Stage the equipment in the appropriate locations so that it may be set up and/or delivered to the proper recipients. Maintain inventory for all IT equipment, software, and telecom equipment. Employee will input and maintain equipment in the inventory system. Employee will input and maintain cell phones in the inventory system. Employee will input and maintain software in the inventory system. Create IT purchase orders for IT hardware orders. Obtain quotes for IT software. Send orders for software and hardware to finance to be ordered once it is approved by IT management. Order new Microsoft software upgrades for agency staff using the approved method. Track Microsoft upgrades for all agency staff via the inventory system. Track and ensure that all maintenance renewals are processed by finance and renewed to prevent a lapse in service. Develop and maintain a calendar for all software and hardware maintenance and support contract renewals and consult with appropriate technical staff to determine whether maintenance and support contracts are to be renewed. Coordinate renewal process with agency fiscal and procurement staff.
