Job Description

What Youll Do
Identify and quickly troubleshoot problems on federate systems (co-located and at remote sites), RTI infrastructure software, client system software and networking
Serve as a manager of the JLCCTC Federation and as a communications hub for multiple simultaneous events
Advise government representatives on technical recommendations and timelines with regards to JLCCTC capabilities
Ensures all exercise databases are complete, accurate, functional and on time

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree (IS, IT, or associated discipline) / Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems; working knowledge of SQL and DB operations
Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
At least 2 yrs. hands-on experience with constructive simulation systems used in military training environments, such as JLCCTC, WARSIM, or other relevant platforms; knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of simulation systems, including SW installation, configuration, and maintenance
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud services, and network security practices
Proficiency in systems administration, particularly with Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems
