Responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the Union by directing the preparation of current financial reports, summaries, and forecasts. Provides expert analysis of the Union's financial strengths and
weaknesses, and proposes strategic objectives in support of the Union's mission. This position serves as a member of the Union's senior team.
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or
equivalent and seven or more years of demonstrated experience; or
Master's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or
equivalent and five or more years of demonstrated experience.
-Progressive mastery of financial and budgetary management;
-Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills;
-Forecasting and process improvement;
-Excellence in accounting related software applications, word processing, and spreadsheets;
-Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide variety of projects and competing deadlines;
-Supervisory experience.
-Certified Public Accountant credentialing.
-Master's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or
equivalent.
-Previous experience in higher education
