Job Description
Insight Global's client is looking to hire a Senior Desktop Analyst to work at one of their large facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for providing desk side support for business stakeholders in addition to physical IT related items such as but not limited to; printers, desktops, scanners, phones, and other misc. endpoint hardware). A component of this position will involve IT deployments (i.e. deployment of computer devices) in addition to conference room setups and troubleshooting. This organization utilizes Windows and Microsoft Office 365 applications, and experience in this area will be required to be successful within this role. You will also be engaging heavily with individuals throughout this facility, with experience and overall comfortability providing in person support being critical. This role will operate on a 90x8 schedule, which means this person will be responsible for working for 8 days in a row, 9 hours per day, with every other Friday off.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience supporting Windows OS environments and setting up PC devices
* 2+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software related issues
* Workstation support (printers, physical desktops, scanners, phones, etc.)
* Experience providing direct (remote or in-person) technical support to customers
* Experience with using and supporting Microsoft 365 products and services, including MS Teams and SharePoint
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience installing and/or troubleshooting servers and network infrastructure (e.g., switches, wireless access points, firewalls, etc.)
* Experience using ServiceNow for tracking incidents and requests
* Experience using Microsoft SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune
* Experience with PowerShell scripting
* Experience managing accounts in Active Directory and/or Azure AD
* Experience in process control and/or industrial environments.
