Insight Global is looking for a telecom engineer in the Kansas City area. This position will be mostly remote with some hybrid capabilities. This candidate will be joining another telecom engineer to assist in upgrading and patching their Avaya phone system . In addition to this you will be working on an enterprise 911 project as well as adding and migrating their session border controllers (SBC). The ideal candidate will have experience with Avaya phone systems, working on Linux systems and an understanding of VOIP concepts. Down the road the client will be upgrading to move off of Avaya so experience with multiple phone systems would be ideal.
