We are actively seeking a Grants Management Accountant to join a research college based in the Midwest. This Accountant will be joining a team of 10 this is responsible for all accounting functions regarding post award administration for the University. There is a mixture of federal, state, local government, and private funding grants this team is responsible for fiscal management and oversight for. Tasks this person can anticipate completing is this role are as follows: reviewing, interpreting funding documents and campus policies and procedures; researching, interpreting and applying appropriate funding agency regulations and federal regulations as required by each award; maintaining contact with funding agencies regarding fiscal and reporting requirements; informing and working with project personnel to ensure regulatory compliance, including the fiscal management of grants/contracts; reviewing, analyzing and preparing report; maintain documentation for audits; review and approve disbursements to ensure conformity with funding agency and University policies. This role can sit fully remote and will be onboarded through a contract to hire model with a level one conversion salary of $56,000 annually.
