Job Description

Our Credentialing Team in South Jersey is searching for credentialing specialists that will be supporting physician and high level allied health onboarding for the entire health system. This team processes credentialing files for providers in all departments of the hospital. The team is typically managing a high volume of files at a time, on average between 20-25 files. Members of this team can expect to do the research behind licensure, past experience and trainings, documentation, and more related to the onboarding of new clinicians. The team sits fully remote, but must live within commutable distance of Camden, NJ. All equipment is provided for specialists.

Software:

This team operates on the Symplr provider credentialing system, the National Practitioner Data Bank, and more.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a credentialing specialist or coordinator

Experience supporting the onboarding of physicians and higher level allied health employees

Experience privileging employees

Experience managing 20-25 files at a given time

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM)
