This candidate is expected to efficiently deliver sustainable CI/CD solutions for the problems identified as a result of collaboration with engineers and architects. Candidates will be expected to participate in team problem solving exercises, Agile sprint ceremonies, implementation of backlog items, and peer code reviews. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a diverse background in modern infrastructure and automation tooling, a DevOps mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.
* Using Azure DevOps classic and YAML pipelines, work with peers to develop CI/CD and other automated solutions
* Identify operational performance indicators (capacity, performance, availability)
* Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
* Perform periodic tuning for operational efficiency and scalability.
* Troubleshoot non-production and production incidents for business continuance.
* Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats, promoting SAST and DAST tooling
* Interface with Stream-aligned Teams to facilitate and assist in safe deployments.
* Articulate technical concepts to non-technical people.
* Actively engage in Scrum-like ceremonies and vocalize progress, impediments, and ideas.
* Aid in writing performant code that adheres to existing and emerging team standards.
* Create and enhance technical documentation around systems and processes.
* Participate in on-call rotation and perform after-hours deployments/releases 4-12 times per year.
