Insight Global is looking for a Unified Communications Engineer to support a large reinsurance company in Stamford, CT. This person will be the manager supporting the Stamford conferences rooms. They will be the go to person for troubleshooting, setup, maintenance, and improvements of the conference rooms. For example, some of the conference rooms do not have HDMI cords, this is something this manager should understand the design and architecture of the rooms and suggest to improve the functionality. They will also be managing 1-2 AV/level 2 techs that will help them out in conference room troubleshooting. Right now each conference room has Crestron equipment, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of preferably Crestron but any video conferencing equipment. This person will be providing white glove service to stakeholders that use these rooms and will need to have high customer service/white glove experience. This person should not be afraid to challenge IT ideas and proactively begin new initiatives to better the company from a video conferencing standpoint.
5+ years' experience with unified communications/AV experience
Experience managing/working on with video conference projects/initiatives
Strong trouble shooting experience with video conferencing equipment (Crestron, Extron, Logitech)
Experience working in a windows PC environment
Basic office 365 and teams troubleshooting knowledge
Strong communication and professional nature
