Job Description
A Small Business is hiring Multiple Energy Analysts and REMS to support multiple government contracts. Candidates should have experience implementing cost-effective energy and water management practices to enhance energy security, independence, and sustainability as mandated by legislation and various Executive Orders. This work will support multiple DoD installations and facilities. The candidate will work with the customer to achieve robust energy management programs, initiatives, and projects to meet energy laws, regulations, policies, directives, and goals. Energy support services include assistance with Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects, Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) projects, Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC) projects, Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) projects, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) projects, Renewable Energy projects and other energy projects. The candidate will support demand reduction for energy and water through education, conservation, and efficiency initiatives and projects that optimize the use of utility resources, including natural gas, electricity, solar, geothermal, water, wastewater, wind, and other energy/utilities. The candidate will also assist with energy and water planning, including development of Installation Energy and Water Plans (IEWPs). In support of these requirements, the candidate will provide project management, engineering, technical knowledge, and analysis of energy management applications, databases, and systems, as well as high-level functional support for evaluation and implementation advice on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy resilience projects. Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration and 5+ years of experience in energy analysis and management (additional experience acceptable in lieu of degree)
* Background in energy management and experience with onsite renewable energy generation, energy storage, and microgrid projects as well as alternative financing contract vehicles
* Experience with review and analysis of energy, water, and/or other utility data and ability to support energy reporting requirements
* Experience coordinating and reviewing report findings/results/status as required.
* Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
* US Citizenship is required and Ability to obtain a secret level clearance.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of Department of Defense energy management and reporting requirements a plus.
* Ability to develop decarbonization and electrification solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emission associated with power generation and transportation
* Review project packages for accuracy and completeness including life cycle cost analysis.
* Experience conducting design reviews.
* Experience supporting the development and implementation of energy projects.
* Experience with onsite renewable energy generation, energy storage, and microgrid projects as well as alternative financing contract vehicles.
