Insight Global is looking for a Remote Business Development Manager to join one of our large automation clients in their precision machining division. They will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and soliciting new sales opportunities for assigned and prospective customer accounts. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing new accounts and fostering customer relationships with clients in the precision machining space. This candidate will be working through this clients CRM system for new and existing opportunities, monitoring booking forecasts, setting priorities and following up on quotes for assigned accounts. They will be able to work remotely from their home office and be required to travel 50-70% of his/her time to customer locations. This client has been around for over 40+ years and has a strong backbone of manufacturing in the automation/precision machining industry. They are looking for candidates that are looking for a company to grow in for the long haul.
· 3+ years of sales experience in CNC machining.
· A proven track record of success in developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, and fostering customer relationships.
· Has experience using a CRM system throughout his previous roles.
· Strong knowledge of precision machining tools, equipment, materials, and machining principles and techniques. / Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
· Ability to self-motivate and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Willingness to travel at least 50-70%.
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
· Proficiency in HubSpot CRM system
