REMOTE Jr. Java Developer

Insight Global is looking to directly hire a Software Developer in a permanent role to join a growing financial company located in West Des Moines, IA. This person will start within Production Support to learn systems and customers pain points and triage the service ques through tickets. Once they have learned the system, they will begin working on various projects such as Backend project work utilizing Java and Angular on the front end, Kubernetes for containerization. The ideal candidate will be a full stack developer looking for an opportunity to grow their skillset.

* 4+ years experience in Java 8 or higher

* 4+ years experience of Spring Boot 2

* 2+ years experience working in Spring Boot 2

* 3+ years of Kafka experience

* 1+ year of Salesforce experience

* Experience in working, deploying, and developing in container technology

* Kubernetes for containerization

* TDD (test driver development)

* ADO (azure devops) experience

* Leadership exposure -- conducing code reviews, presenting to business stakeholders, leading projects or teams, etc.

* HTML, CSS, and Javascipt

* Angular 8+

* Insurance or Annuity experience

* Test Automation Experience in Cypress or comparable product

* Mulesoft

* Selenium

* MQ Messaging
