Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Python Developer to support Farm Bureau Financial Services on a data ingestion initiative focused on bringing external vendor data into their cloud environment. This individual will leverage Python and PySpark to build and maintain data pipelines, process incoming data, and collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can work independently, troubleshoot complex data challenges, and proactively drive work forward while partnering with both technical and business stakeholders as needed. For this position we are paying between $45-55 an hour.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience developing solutions with Python
- Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation
- Experience building, enhancing, and supporting data pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure (highly preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data and pipeline issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and drive work forward with minimal oversight
- Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Previous work in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience supporting actuarial, analytics, or enterprise data initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and provide implementation recommendations
