Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support engineering initiatives for the Miniature Circuit Breakers product portfolio. This role will focus on leading product and process changes, ensuring product performance, and supporting continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
The Project Engineer will take ownership of engineering projects including material changes, supplier transitions, and production line transfers. This individual will work cross-functionally to ensure all changes meet design specifications, quality standards, and performance expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading engineering projects related to product updates and improvements
Managing product changes such as new material selection, supplier transitions, and production line transfers
Supporting multiple component categories including sheet metal, molded plastics, stamped parts, and packaging
Developing and executing test plans for verification and validation
Conducting mechanical and electrical performance testing in accordance with engineering standards
Ensuring compliance with design guidelines, codes, and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain

Required Skills & Experience
Experience leading engineering projects in a manufacturing or product environment
Experience managing product changes (materials, suppliers, or production processes)
Strong knowledge of testing, validation, and verification processes
Ability to conduct mechanical and/or electrical performance testing
Experience working within engineering standards, codes, and design guidelines
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred)
Experience with Miniature Circuit Breakers or similar electrical products
Background in supplier change management or production line transfers
Experience with sheet metal, molded plastics, stamped parts, or packaging components
Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Schneider Electric processes or similar organizations
