Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer III to support a leading insurance client’s Distribution Management System initiative. This individual will play a key role in customizing, enhancing, and supporting Duck Creek Distribution while also contributing to modernization efforts and ongoing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Distribution solutions to support business operations and client needs
- Customize and configure Duck Creek components, leveraging knowledge from Duck Creek University and hands-on experience
- Analyze existing code, including calculations and business logic, to ensure accuracy, performance, and compliance with state requirements
- Support replacement of legacy applications through modernized technology solutions
- Participate in the full SDLC, including gathering functional requirements, writing technical specifications, and delivering high-quality code
- Provide operational support, including troubleshooting, patching, and system enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals and regulatory requirements
Salary Range: $90,000 to $130,000

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or application development
- Strong experience with Duck Creek technologies, particularly Distribution Management System (DMS)
- Proficiency in C#, Java, and SQL-based systems
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- AWS certifications
- Angular experience
