Job Description

Job Summary
The Application Developer I supports the full lifecycle of applications, from design and development to testing and ongoing support. This role works closely with delivery leads, developers, and business partners in an Agile environment to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and continuously improving. The position also supports integrations, helps resolve production issues, and contributes to documentation and team standards.
Primary Responsibilities

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Develop, enhance, test, and maintain applications across multiple projects at the same time
Support the full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process, following established standards and best practices
Identify opportunities for application improvements and perform upgrades as needed
Build and maintain application interfaces, APIs, and data integrations to support system interoperability
Troubleshoot application issues by identifying root causes and driving solutions through resolution
Assist with creating and maintaining user documentation, manuals, and guidelines
Research new development tools, technologies, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members when needed
Participate in an on-call rotation to support application availability
Perform additional duties as assigned

The compensation for this position will be $76,000-$91,000 based on experience

Required Skills & Experience

Education and/or Experience:

Two-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS, or equivalent education and experience required
At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in application development required
At least two years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform, SQL Server and C# required
Experience with PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Dynamics CRM/365, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, T SQL, and SSIS
Experience working on projects following the Agile project methodology
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Familiarity with Azure DevOps including Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, UIPath preferred
Familiarity with job scheduling software such as VisualCron
Knowledge of Banking/Financial Institution regulatory requirements desired
Ability to design, configure, and deploy CRM solutions, including workflows, custom actions, business process flows, and complex fields
Typing speed of 30+ WPM
