Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Cobol Developer to join a team at a top Life Insurance and Property and Casualty company here in the Des Moines area. This individual will join a mid sized team supporting the Billing System for ongoing production support. This role will include heavy collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather requirements on issues and provide resolution on business problems. This role will be a mix of collaborative and individual coding/development work.

Annual salary for this position ranges between $75,000 -$110,000 and is heavily dependent on experience and skill set level.

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate degree or equivalent and 1-5 years relevant experience.
• Experience supporting legacy systems & production support in Cobol.
• Working knowledge of DB2.
• Strong leadership skills and initiative to research questions and concerns.
• Strong communication skills in order to interact with internal stakeholders.
