Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Service Engineer to join a large agriculture client in the Des Moines area. This individual will focus primarily on Field Sensor Management (90%), supporting the deployment, calibration, and maintenance of field sensors, as well as handling seasonal preparation tasks such as annual preventive maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades. During downtime, the role will also contribute to Laboratory Equipment Oversight (10%), servicing all liquid handlers and other automation system on campus, performing routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance. They will partner closely with engineers, production leaders and other support team members for continuous improvement and cross-training. This candidate will also be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization and will be able to handle multiple tickets coming from different business units. This person will be compensated at a starting rate of $40/HR.

Required Skills & Experience
• Previous experience with Run and maintain activities on equipment.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Willing and able to perform the physical aspects of this job which include but are not necessarily limited to; sit/stand for extended periods, repetitive motion and are able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• You are comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required.
• Individuals must be self-motivated, have demonstrated personal initiative, have excellent organization skills, and have a strong work ethic.
• Great problem solving, conflict resolution, communication (both written and verbal) and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working on lab automation platforms.
• Previous experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar systems.
