Insight Global is looking for a Mid-Level Machine Learning Engineer for a Senior Living Operator client in the Des Moines, IA area. This individual will work independently on technical tasks while collaborating closely with team members. Responsibilities include refactoring code and standing up frameworks. Additionally, implementing infrastructure changes, building reusable packages, and managing model lifecycles. This individual will develop language models within Databricks and Snowflake environments, convert Python code to Spark/PySpark, and establish CD/CI pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in code refactoring, infrastructure changes, building reusable packages, and working with language models.
The hourly pay rate for this position ranges between $50.00 - $54.00 and is based on years of experience & skills coming in with.

Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
3-5 years of experience in Machine Learning.
Proficiency in using the Azure framework for machine learning projects.
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
Experience working with Databricks.
Solid understanding of SQL for data management and analysis.
