Insight Global is looking to hire a Security Technician in a full time role for a client of ours in Des Moines, IA. This candidates main duties include programing & installation of security systems on large construction, new construction, and remodeling projects. Qualified candidates will have formal training in security and low voltage installation, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow directions, climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs repetitively. Security systems, VMS software, low voltage knowledge and understanding and experience pulling and routing wires is required. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can go out into the field and trust that the work is getting done in a timely and professional manner. Candidates will be expected to follow direction from the Project Manager. This candidate will join a team of security professionals who provide high-quality service to clients across the Des Moines metro.
$18/hr to $38/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Minimum 2 3 years of Security installation experience for commercial and industrial projects
Troubleshooting and Installation experience with a variety of Security products and door access control.
Experience performing all or a combination of the following:
o Security wiring, Cameras, door access controls, terminating/certifying cables, installing servers in racks, punching down on patch panels, putting on head-ends, installing internet/security systems, and structured cabling
Reliable transportation, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders etc..
