Remote Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineers for one of our retail clients in Des Moines, IA. As a Software Engineer, you'll work as a member of a cross functional agile team focused on building great user interfaces and customer mobile products. You'll create reusable components that are shared across many application and work with other team members to cross-pollinate ideas and skills. You'll find, monitor, and address performance issue and take features from conception to final production deployment. In the role, you'll contribute heavily to user story definition that takes our technology stack into consideration, but also continue to push the bounds of what is possible. You'll work heavily in a paired programming environment and mentor other engineers. Software Engineers will be working on full stack development with customer facing mobile products but all working on the back end as well.

Must Have:

NOTE: Years of experience will vary due to level of engineer

* Hands on experience with React Native

* Experience with GraphQL

* Knowledge of the Cloud - willing to work with GCP

* Willingness to work in paired programming

* Experience working on large scale mobile applications.

* Familiarity with mobile app infrastructure (e.g. Bitrise, Fastlane).

* Experience with mobile app acceptance testing (Cucumber & Detox).
