Remote Engineering Manager - Data Platforms / Quality

Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Manager for Data Platforms and Quality for one of our retail clients in Des Moines, IA. As an Engineering Manager you will mentor, coach and inspire teams of Data engineers and Quality Assurance team. You will guide teams in establishing and following best practice engineering processes. Improve agile best practices. Provide technical guidance and support the team. Establish and maintain positive relationships across the entire IT department along with key business stakeholders. Enable engineering teams to deliver continuous value and growth within the company.

· Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field

· 3+ years of experience as a Manager or in a leadership position

· 3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance (automation preferably)

· Experience with a database programming language: SQL, MySQL, or Oracle

· Experience with cloud-based technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Experience with application development background
