Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for one of our industrial construction clients. This individual will support heavy industrial construction projects within the chemical, power generation, pulp & paper, manufacturing, and related industrial sectors. The Project Manager will serve as the bridge between field operations and project leadership, working with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support project planning, execution, and closeout activities for large-scale industrial construction projects.
-Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, estimators, and field leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
-Drive project scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and earned value reporting.
-Assist with procurement, subcontract management, and change order documentation.
-Monitor field productivity and ensure work is executed safely and efficiently.
-Serve as a liaison between field supervision, customers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
-Support quality control initiatives, inspections, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with 3-6 years of industrial construction experience; OR 12+ years of comparable industrial construction experience.
-Experience supporting projects within heavy industrial, power, manufacturing, chemical, or pulp & paper environments.
-Understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost forecasting, and field operations.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Primavera P6 experience preferred (MS Project acceptable).
-Experience with earned value management, project forecasting, and cost controls.
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3D Lift Plan, or similar construction technologies.
-OSHA training or industrial safety background.
