Job Description
The DevOps Engineer is a hands-on engineering role responsible for building and improving the automation that moves software from source control through testing, security validation, deployment, and production support. The engineer creates reusable CI/CD components, standardized container and AKS delivery patterns, automated quality and security gates, observability integrations, and self-service onboarding paths for enterprise applications, proof-of-concepts, and AI/ML workloads.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Three or more years of DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or software delivery automation experience in an enterprise environment.
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, YAML, Git workflows, artifact management, release automation, and environment approvals.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Azure Container Registry, AKS/Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code delivery.
• Working knowledge of Terraform module consumption, remote state, validation, drift detection, and policy enforcement.
• Experience in integrating automated tests and security scans into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, dependency, secret, container, and IaC scanning.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability using Datadog, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or comparable platforms.
• Scripting or development proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or a comparable automation language.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex build, deployment, networking, identity, secrets, and runtime issues across multiple teams.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create reusable solutions rather than one-time fixes.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Helm, Azure Key Vault, managed identity, and policy-as-code.
• Experience supporting Azure OpenAI, machine-learning platforms, RAG services, inference APIs, or agentic applications.
• Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Jira, Azure Logic Apps, APIs, webhooks, or cross-platform workflow integration.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, HashiCorp Terraform, security, or DevOps certifications.
