Job Description

Our largest pharmaceutical client is looking for an Automation Engineer to sit on-site in Indianapolis, IN to support their CMO automation group. The main responsibility of this engineer is to provide baseline automation support for the IDM CMO Automation Group, including: migration of the code repository, support for JPT CI and CAPA implementation activities, execution of automation documents (IBRF, SCR, & BSR), and production line equipment troubleshooting across applicable sites. Responsibilities will primarily be assigned/delegated by the Lilly Automation Engineers and consist of a high volume of smaller tasks or actions and a limited number of small-medium projects.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 2-3 years of automation engineering experience, ideally in a regulated environment
If not regulated, a background with a structured environment
PLC (Rockwell preferred), robotics (Fanuc preferred), vision systems (Cognex/Keyence preferred), equipment code management
Experience with code management
Strong ability to provide consulting and then implement changes
Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field
