Job Description

This individual plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall manufacturing efficiency. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, diagnoses and resolves tooling and machinery issues, and collaborates closely with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain optimal equipment performance. Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance activities with production schedules to achieve on-time delivery goals, supporting equipment improvement and upgrade projects, and utilizing established communication tools to escalate manufacturing issues that cannot be resolved on the production floor. The role also involves assembling, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining new and existing tooling, performing light machining and basic electrical controls repairs as needed, and managing the procurement and inventory of tooling, replacement components, and capacity-enhancing equipment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong independence, problem-solving, and ownership within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
