Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Oracle DBA to support one of our financial services clients in Indianapolis, IN or Newark, DE. This person will monitor Oracle environments, investigate alerts, and resolve issues related to performance, system administration, backups, and recovery. They’ll support patch cycles and release activities, proactively review data from tools like Dynatrace and OEM to spot trends or risks, and partner with application teams on performance and upcoming changes. The role also includes communicating root causes and business impacts, improving monitoring and diagnostics, and collaborating in a highly communicative environment

Required Skills & Experience
-5-7yrs enterprise level Oracle database experience
-OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) tools + Monitoring Tools (such as Cloudwatch, Solarwinds, etc)
-Windows/Linux Server experience
-AWS
-"Dive in" mentality; willingness to try & fail; be vocal/share ideas in meetings
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar expertise
